Week 1 |
January 7th - 11th, 2008 | Monday - Thursday - We talked about VB, the syllabi and went over the first chapter of VB. We did a little exercise with peanut butter and jelly and with the island. |
| Week 2 | January 14th - 18, 2008 | Monday - Assigned Car Rental and VB Terms at end of chapter 2 Tuesday - Assigned Catering assignment at end of chapter for a test. Make sure that you turn in the 2 requirement sheets along with diagram drawing. The 2 sheets are due before end of class today through email. Wednesday - Completed the test by doing the design part of the test. Thursday - Assigned #8 at the end of the chapter on travel with the requirement sheets and the diagram that are all due by the beginning of class Tuesday.

| Week 3 | January 21st - 25th, 2008 | Monday - Martin Luther King Holiday Tuesday - Begin Chapter 3. We got to page 148 today. Wednesday - Begin on page 148. Finished the chapter and make sure that your coding is like pages 176 and 177 before we continue on to the next projects. Thursday - Assign next project work which is: Car rentals, VB Terms, Travel, and Catering at the end of the chapter along with updating the requirments document and sheet if needed. All due by the end of class on Tuesday.

| Week 4 | January 28th - February 1st, 2008 | Monday - Continue working on 4 projects. Tuesday - All 4 projects due at end of class today. Wednesday - Begin working in next chapter. Thursday - Begin on Page 227 with Scope of Variables. Finished Chapter and had them do chapter assignment and had it work before making end of chapter assignments. |
| Week 5 | February 4th - February 8th, 2008 |
Monday - Today we will work on Concert Tickets on Pages 279 - 280. Tuesday - Continue working on Concert Tickets and make sure that you turn in your Use Case Definition Sheet and your Requirement Document Sheet also. Wednesday - Checked and worked on Concert Tickets and some began working on the Taxi project. Thursday - Continue working on Taxi project.

| Week 6 | February 11th - February 15th, 2008 | Monday - Working on Concert Tickets, Taxi, and assigned the calculated project also and all will be due by the end of class on Thursday. Tuesday - Continue working on Taxi and Calculated project. Wednesday - Continue working on Concert tickets, Taxi and Calculator project. Thursday - Happy Valentine's Day - Concert Tickets, Taxi, and Calculator Projects Due at end of class along with Documentation Papers. |
| Week 7 | February 18th - February 22nd, 2008 | Monday - Finish Calculator Project. Tuesday - Could not do Chapter 5 because we do not have Smart Devices on this software. Begin Chapter 6 - Loop Structures. Wednesday - Pick up where we left off yesterday and finish reading Chapter 6 and any projects that you have not finished complete them and have them ready to turn in Monday. Thursday - Finish reading Chapter 6 and any projects that you have not finished complete them and have them ready to turn in Monday. |
| Week 8 | February 25th - February 29th, 2008 | Monday - Begin working on projects in Chapter 6. Assigned the chapter exercise that they read through the chapter. When they finish it and it is working we will continue on to the end of chapter assignments. Tuesday - Continue working on Chapter exercise. Wedneday - Finish Chapter exercise and begin working on Hawaiian exercise which is exercise #1. Thursday - Continue working on exercise #1 - Hawaiian Exercise. |
| Week 9 | March 3rd - March 7, 2008 | Monday - Continue working on Hawaiian and Added #3 - Football Fever Scoreboard P. 475. Tuesday - Work on all three assignments for this chapter. Wednesday - Work on all three assignments for this chapter. Thursday - All 3 assignments are due at the end of class today. I will extend the projects until Monday. |

Tuesday - Work on Final Requirements Document, Case Definition and Drawings on paper and nothing on the computer as of yet. | Week 13 | March 31st - April 4, 2008 | Monday - Begin Chapter Eight - Using Procedures and Exception Handling. Tuesday - Begin on page 593 and finish the chapter and begin end of chapter work. They are to work on the project within the chapter and have it working for a test grade before we continue on to other projects. Wednesday - Worked on chapter project. Thursday - Finish working on chapter project. |
| Week 14 | April 7th - April 11, 2008 | Monday - Discuss final projects and what they must have in their final projects now that we have finished this chapter. Give hand outs to explain what they must include in the finals and assign next chapter work when chapter assignment is complete. Tuesday - Continue working on chapter project and final. Wednesday - Continue working on chapter project and final. Thursday - Work on finals. |
