Swine Management is a concentration under the curriculum title of Applied Animal Students are taught skills necessary for operating an efficient and profitable swine enterprise. Course work includes production practices, swine health, reproduction, housing, records management, waste management, and personnel management. Graduates should qualify for employment opportunities in the swine industry such as owners/operations, farm managers, departmetn supervisors, field service representatives, and waste management technicians.
