The mission of the Human Resources Development (HRD) program is to educate and train individuals for success in the workplace.

HRD 3005 - Computers for the Workplace. Do you need to learn how to cut a computer on? Are you looking to upgrade your computer skills to be more competitive in the job market? Learn the basics of the computer; produce a cover letter, resume and other documents that will help you be successful on the job. 40 hours.

HRD 3003 - Career Planning and Assessment. Come let us help you assess your interests, attitudes and aptitudes as it relates to career, employment and/or educational goals. The couse will focus on personal development, career exploration, goal setting and the development of a written plan of action. 16 hours.

HRD 3008 - Money Smart. This course is designed to help students understand real-life economic concepts and economical ways of thinking that will help to make better-informed decisions as it relates to their role as a member of the workforce. Topics include understanding credit card debt, home ownership and establishing a budget. 30 hours.

HRD 3003 - IRA (Interview, Resume, Application). Come master the following in the course: What you need to know to fill out a job application, Resume writing guidelines, the art of writing job search letters, the are of networking and preparing for the job interview. 16 hours.

HRD 3006 - Employability Motivation and Retention. This course focuses on four workforce development areas: Transition, Retention, Advancement and Re-Employment. 30 hours.
